Is it Wrong?

Is it wrong that my favorite game to play with Elias is the one where I just sit in the chair, while he runs back and forth from the kitchen to the living room bringing different refrigerator magnets in a plastic egg, and all I do is try and guess what letter he picked, and then he puts them into his Lego house and gets another? Or perhaps what is wrong is that I always clean those letters up before any other toys in the hopes that he will want to play it again tomorrow.

Beer!

Mischievous already!

The Only Way to See Florida

My Sister, my Mom, me and the three boys (2, 4, & 7) met up in Florida for a week-long "vacation." It was hot, it was muggy, and it may have been a tad bit too long, but Beach Camp 2010 was otherwise a wild success.

The activities are too many to list here, so I will hit on some highlights. Eating meals together was fun! We had wonderful food, candlelit dinners, and awesome desserts.

We made our very own tie dyed family shirts for which we got numerous compliments. Stephanie and I simply glowed when we went out for a late night beach walk on the last evening.

We made our own bracelets. Here is Elias with his, "Don't bother me Mom" look. We also dyed eggs and created a scrapbook.

We celebrated Mom's birthday. I think it is safe to say she liked her gifts. We girls had many late night talks and stayed up way past my bedtime.

We went to the beach, made sand castles, got in the ocean (twice!) and played in the pool. We had a difficult walk to the lighthouse, and an OK drive through the Ding Darling Nature reserve. We even got out on the bikes. I think one of the kids' favorite things was the playground. All three boys slept in one room together, and Elias learned to sleep in his "bed." I think maybe that was my favorite part.
