Mean Spirited?

Every night we do "fishy treatment" with Elias.  It is his daily dose of Budesonide via a nebulizer to keep him from getting wheezy when he gets a cold.  I have been too sick (strep throat) to read the book while he sits on the couch for his 5 minute medicine dose, so Matt has been doing it these past few nights.  Every night Matt asks if they can read Fox in Socks by Dr. Seuss because that is Matt's favorite book.  Every night Elias says no.  Tonight I'm feeling well enough to do fishy treatment, so what book does Elias pick from the cabinet?  You guessed it, Fox in Socks.  Me: "Elias, are you being mean?"  Elias: "What?"
